The Showcase Showdown is the most exciting part of “The Price is Right” due to the fact that during this segment there are many prizes available to win simultaneously. Therefore, getting the right price is almost impossible. Apparently, no one ever successfully guessed the exact number until 2010.
Audience member Terry Kneiss guessed 23,743 dollars and was excited when he found out that it was the exact right price. The episode was paused for an hour so that Terry could be investigated. It turned out that Kneiss was very good at math and watched reruns of the show to see exact prices.
