Sometimes the Show Runners Make Mistakes
Despite its many years on air, “The Price Is Right” still makes occasional on show mistakes. However, sometimes the showrunner’s mistakes can work in the contestant’s favor. Like one person who was supposed to guess the price of a Dell laptop. Seems pretty straightforward, but apparently it wasn’t.
The computer was actually an HP not a Dell, so sadly the person’s guess was way off. However, since they’d been misinformed by the show, as to the computer’s brand, the producers let the contestant keep the computer, even though the guess was wrong.
