Making Paper Pictures Cool Again
Back in our day, a photo was something you had to earn with time and patience after turning your film in at a photo center. The digital age was born and took over and our Kodak moments ate up most of the memory on our phones because we were too busy to fuss with most digital photo printing services. Then Groovebook surfaced on Shark Tank.

The subscription service lets their more than 500,000 users upload 100 pictures every month to be printed in a 4×6 book with perforated pages for easy removal and hanging. Did we mention it’s only $4 a month, including shipping? Groovebook also caught not only one Shark, but two. The company was eventually sold to photo giant Shutterfly for $14.5 million.
