Honesty is the best policy
Not every kid gets an allowance. Our allowance growing up was living under a roof and eating three times a day. And mowing lawns under the hot, punishing sun was our forced way of showing gratitude to mom and dad. But essentially, yeah, we were freeloaders, just like Frankie here.
It’s nice that he’s being honest, but maybe that sort of honesty shouldn’t go on a piece of paper that you hand to your teacher. We recommend just putting random stuff in there, like “by kicking squirrels out of the garden” or “by telling Skinwalkers to leave my house alone.” You know, the stuff that will actually worry your teacher.
