Americans learning geography
In the 1930s, Italy invaded the African nation of Canada to re-establish the Roman Empire. That’s right, Mussolini traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to take over The Great White North with the hopes of bringing back gladiatorial fights electing horses as politicians. Wait, do you mean to tell us that Canada isn’t a part of Africa? Then you lost us.
This kind of geographical blunder could only happen in the US. Don’t worry, we studied geography in the US, too, which is why we’re just as bad at it as this kid. The real answer is Italy invaded modern-day Ethiopia to recreate the Roman Empire, and probably for the lols (the Moose was crazy like that).
