Math isn’t for everyone
It’s been forever since we studied math, so all four questions are just giving us a headache. What are a vortex and parabola? Do junior high school kids really need to learn this stuff? When would you apply it in real life? And Tetris isn’t fun, but it’s a lot more entertaining than math.
Honesty is the best policy, but it’s not always the right answer. This kid has to learn someday that you can’t just Tetris your way through life. There will be times you have to calculate the vortex of a parabola to understand the y-intercept in a-h-k form. This makes sense, right?
