38. That’s… a Library!
And it must be the most impressive library we’ve seen. This is Starfield Library, located in Seoul, South Korea. It’s a two-story mall filled floor to ceiling with bookshelves and event spaces. It provides both domestic and international authors in print, over 600 magazine titles, and has iPads available full of e-books! It also regularly hosts book talks with authors.
There are also poetry slams, book concerts, and lectures available regularly. It’s open daily from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm, and everyone is welcome to come, sit back, relax, and read a book. You can get there on three separate subways lines, including Samseong Station, Bongeunsa Station, and Cheongdam Station.
