41. The Mountain Peak
A must-see tourist attraction and natural wonder of the world, Daedunsan is a mountain range in South Korea with slightly over a thousand peaks covered in trees such as pine, oak, and Korean plum-yem. The autumn views are particularly famous in October and early November, leaving travelers simply awestruck.
The hike can be somewhat arduous for the inexperienced trekker, but there are many rest stops along the way. There’s even a beautiful bridge suspended between two peaks! This mountain range is located in Chungcheongnam-do, the most western province of South Korea, and has an elevation of 2,881 feet. Make sure your camera is fully charged and has plenty of storage space; you’ll need it!
