That KTX train line we mentioned earlier? It’s not just a straight ride to your destination. It has cafés, video games, shops, and even single-person karaoke! Karaoke is a trendy pastime in Korea, so it makes sense that a few hours traveling the country can be spent singing your heart out where no one can hear you.
If you’ve seen any Korean dramas on television, you’ll note that they all have one thing in common, the noraebang. That’s the name for these karaoke stations. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a city that doesn’t have numerous entertainment facilities devoted to this activity! Since 1991, it’s been a primary form of entertainment.
