Lock your sheds
It’s crucial that we know just how easy power tools are to sell. A burglar can make a quick buck from selling stolen power tools on Craigslist or a social media marketplace. The buyers usually don’t ask whether something is stolen. If they can get a good deal on it, they’re going to pick it up before anyone else does.
So, if you keep your power tools in your shed, make sure to lock it up nice and tight every time. If your shed has several gaping holes, patch them up with. Since sheds aren’t 100% burglar-proof, make sure that the burglar needs to work extra-hard to break into it.
