College Catastrophe
Going to college in the United States is exorbitantly expensive. We all know it costs an arm and a leg if you aren’t lucky enough to nab yourself a scholarship or qualify for grants and financial aid, and with the cost increasing 6.8% a year, you won’t have any limbs left to pay with by the time you’re in your last year.
That’s why parents scramble to get as much saved as they can while their kids are young, but a college fund of $148.74 isn’t even enough to send u/justburch712 to clown college (which can run over $1,500 — in case you were wondering), let alone pay for a textbook at a community college. Why did they even bother?
