Zombie Minion
Even dead and covered in blood, this minion is still cute. They’re timeless critters, perfect for every season, but especially Halloween. Zombies have long been a trope in Hollywood, but interestingly enough, they started in 17th century Haiti, according to The History Channel. However, the word itself wasn’t seen until the 1800s.
A poem written in Brazil by English poet Robert Southey is the first recorded version of the word we use today. It wasn’t until 1968 that zombies hit the movie scene in Night of the Living Dead, and ever since then, they’ve become a trendy theme in B movies. The Walking Dead brought them back to life and into mainstream television.
