Christian Bale is perhaps most recognized for his performance as malevolent banker Patrick Bateman in the film “American Psycho.” According to Bale, Bateman leaves a lasting impression on people. He is reported to take pleasure in slipping back into the character from time to time.

Bale has been reported to pick up the phone as Patrick or revert to talking like him, although thankfully without engaging in Bateman’s villainous behavior, which made him such a fascinating bad guy.
