Star Wars Jokes That Aren’t Just for Diehard Fans

A running gag among Star Wars fans that has spilled out into the real world is the Stormtrooper’s inability to aim. For some strange reason, these guys can’t aim a laser for their lives. Perhaps they can’t see out of those helmets, or maybe these guys didn’t go through special training. But the likelier that bad aim is a requirement to sign up as a Stormtrooper.

What’s odd is that Obi-Wan states in Episode IV that the shots were too “accurate” for a Sandcrawler and that only Stormtroopers could be so precise. Then for nine movies, the Stormtroopers fail to hit a single target. Obi-Wan is full of it.
