The entire franchise took place a long time ago (not our time) in a galaxy far, far away (again, not ours, obviously). So, who’s to say that their technology would be the same as ours? Maybe they didn’t need people to verify that they weren’t humans every time they opened a webpage.

In fact, how often did you see people surfing the internet or on their smartphones in Star Wars? The answer is zero times, so it’s fair to say that they didn’t have the same problem of bots as we do. Still, they really should have set up a human-verification system to prevent R2D2 and C3PO from doing their magic.
