Coastal Living
Did you know that over half of the population in the United States resides within 50 miles of the coastline? This coastal concentration is a testament to the charm of the sea, drawing people towards its scenic beauty, economic opportunities, and recreational potential. Coastal regions often serve as major hubs for commerce, trade, and tourism, attracting both residents and visitors alike.
While this proximity to the coast offers many advantages, it also poses challenges related to issues like sea-level rise, hurricanes, and coastal erosion. Still, many people opt to leave near the coast, and we can’t blame them! Living close to nature and being able to visit the sea on weekends is worth all of the risks, if you ask us.
