Doing A Nope With Your Laundry Soap
It’s laundry day, and you’re staring down a heap of sweat-stained laundry stinking up your basket. The kids’ clothes look like a Picasso painting of dirt and grass, commemorating their outdoor adventures and sports games, so you pour a little extra detergent into the washing machine, or maybe a lot.
Again, our brains associate more soap and suds with a deeper clean, but this is another case where cooling it on the bubbles is a better idea. Too much laundry detergent traps stains and odors into the fabric and throws off the delicate balance of cleansers and water needed for a good wash. Stick to the directions for this one.
