Tennis Player Ana Ivanovic
Ana Ivanovic was the number-one ranked female tennis player in the world in 2008. The former tennis star from Russia made her debut in 2003 as a rising star on the collegiate level. When she went pro, she went 26-0 and took home the gold in the first five events she attended. One year later, she’d win her first WTA title, boosting her global rank to 16th overall.
Her first and only Olympic appearance was in 2012, but she was eliminated in the third round. Some say that her loss at the Olympics was the beginning of the end as she struggled to qualify for international events afterward. When Ana retired in 2018, she made over $15 million in prize money.
