The Bud Bowl
Mid-90s kids who watched Toy Story grew up suspicious that their toys came to life and went on adventures when nobody was looking, and adults of the late 80s weren’t much different after the Bud Bowl commercials had them double-checking their fridge to see whether their beverages were scoring touchdowns after the door closed.
The stop-motion Budweiser commercials became a yearly tradition after the first Bud Bowl, continuing for nearly ten years. Some even say the Bud Bowl was more exciting than the actual Super Bowl and call for the ads to make a comeback, while others are curious to see the series resurrected with modern animation.
