Breaking Records
It’s not just family records that the Super Bowl has broken – there are also gender ones as well. Sadly, women don’t get a lot of representation at this event, which many people traditionally view as a male sport. This is quite ironic when you look at the stats about the viewership.
According to CNBC, new figures show that the game attracts an average of 187.3 million fans, 47% of which are women. That’s quite a significant amount for what is meant to be a “man’s sport!” Perhaps, one day, we’ll see women competing at the Super Bowl, or at least more female representation.
