Free Public Camping
Earlier, we spoke about the Freedom to Roam Act, which allows Swedes free roam anywhere in nature. The only exception is private property, though many landowners are willing to let people venture into certain parts of their land.

Roughly 86% of Swedes live in the cities, so many people yearn to become one with nature at least once a year. One of the more popular summertime activities is camping. Swedes can set up tents and campfires on public property without having to apply for a permit or rent a camping site. Anyone who loves the outdoors will love spending summers in Sweden!
