33 Vacation Days
In the United States, employees are entitled to paid vacation days. It can be as few as ten days every year, while some of the more generous employers will dish out 15 or 20 days of paid leave. While 25 days seems to be the number people strive for, Sweden is even more generous than that.

Out of all the countries in Europe, Sweden offers the highest number of vacation days, which is 33. The continent’s average is 25.2 days, so Swedes get more than an extra week to chillax and home and not worry about reduced pay. With over a month of paid leave, it’s no wonder so many businesses close shop during the summer.
