Accessible Personal Information
Earlier, we spoke about how Swedes love their privacy and will do whatever it takes to preserve it. Ironically, their government collects a ton of personal information from its citizens. It’s not worse than what our governments do, but the good part is that you can request your information from the government at any time.
What’s strange is that you can also request personal information about other people. It’s not uncommon for people to ask for the personal contact number of a company CEO, as long as they have a good reason to do so. So, privacy and accessibility to private information are two contradictory things that are entitled to Sweden’s citizens.
