Hanson was composed of three long-haired American members who produced hit singles, as did Nirvana, but the designer of this shirt couldn’t remember who was who, so they put them together and called it a day.
The Hanson-Nirvana mashup has become so popular online with 90s kids that you only need to google the two band names together to find several vendors offering their version of the silly shirt. Reddit rumor has it that the shirts originated from Bangkok, Thailand, and have been parodied overseas ever since.
