#38: How Many of You Are There?
We all had that one classmate who was the last in a long line of siblings. Remember the first day of class, every single year, there was always the one teacher who would take role call and pause at that student’s name before saying, “Oh. Are you So-and-so’s sibling?” That question rarely had a happy tone.
Thanks to the brothers and sisters who came before them, that poor youngest sibling always had a reputation to either live down or live up to. Is it fair? No, certainly not. However, the apple rarely falls far from the tree, so the teachers were probably justified in many of their assumptions!
