Texts Where Women Define Their Own Rules

April 3, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

Being a lady or a girl is not always an easy thing to do. In the event that things do not go our way, we are expected to simply sit back and smile. Others believe that being a woman entails keeping your mouth shut, staying out of trouble, and figuring things out. Isn’t that, though, a little monotonous? Many women, on the other hand, have learnt to set their own standards and advocate for themselves. Women express themselves openly in these SMS exchanges, stating what they require and how they feel.

Take a look into my eyes.

Let’s begin with a woman who has obviously established her own set of rules. There is a text message from her ex-boyfriend that this great woman appears to have received but does not wish to read. This man crept back into her life by sending her an email with the subject line “What’s up?”

While some individuals merely react out of courtesy, this woman responded with a photo of herself and her new partner, both of whom appear to be as surprised as they possibly can be at the prospect of being together. To be certain, she followed up with an emphatic “No.”
