Voted Out of the Family
Politics have always been – and always will be – a dramatic topic of discussion during family get-togethers. Things have gotten even more dramatic for some families over the last five years. Some family members have even stopped talking to each other because of a person’s voting history or political beliefs!

This person tweeted that one of her family members got kicked out of dinner for talking about who they voted for! It’s a bummer that things have become so divisive and we hope people can still get along even if they don’t see eye-to-eye. Obviously, do whatever is best for your mental health. Sometimes limiting interactions with a toxic family member can be beneficial. Every situation is different, but just remember to practice kindness even if you feel frustrated.
