Graffitti and Grammar
The Grammar Police are everywhere. If you thought they only stuck to cleaning up Facebook posts and Tweets across the internet, you were sorely mistaken. The people who can’t resist scratching the itch that tells them to correct every written wrong are among us in the real world too, and they’ll even go after your graffiti.
This officer thought they caught an artist using the wrong spelling of “you’re” but ended up violating their own laws by incorrectly correcting them because “You ‘RE” is nonsense. If you look close enough, you’ll see the artist obviously used a lowercase “o” and “u” in “you,” along with a clear space to denote that the R was shorthand for “are.”
