Start Saying NO

This is the number one area that many busy parents struggle with. Learning to say no when your plate is full is one simple life hack that can change your world. Get Things Done Early

When you have a project that doesn’t need to be done for a week or so, try to get it done earlier. Getting things done earlier, rather than procrastinating until the last minute will help you be more productive and have more free time in your busy life.

Plan Ahead

The most productive parents in the world know that planning the next day’s tasks the night before helps to remain productive. Pack lunches the night before. Get your bag ready the night before. Do whatever you can possibly do the night before so that your next day will run smoothly.

Sleep Well

Start setting yourself up with a bedtime and wake up time. This should be the same time each day so that your body will adjust to this new sleep pattern and in turn be more productive. Consider getting up at least 15 minutes before anyone else in the home to have a little free time to clear your mind, as well.

Delegate Tasks

Your kids can do a lot more around the house than you probably realize. Learn to delegate some of your household tasks to the kids and other family members. Your family can work as a team to get dishes done, trash taken out, meal prep complete, and other tasks to help free up your time.

Prioritize Tasks

Last, but not least, the most productive hack we can share with you is to learn how to prioritize tasks. Knowing what must get done today versus something that can wait until tomorrow is an important role in learning to be more productive with your everyday life and work tasks.

These are just some of our favorite productivity hacks for busy parents to help save time, reduce stress, and allow parents everywhere to enjoy more time with their children before they venture out into their own adult lives.
