Even though modern smartphones contain hundreds of emojis, most people have that one particular emoji that they like to use the most. However, did you know that the 50 states of America have claimed a favorite emoji too? How did this come to be? Who the heck decided this? Check out your favorite state’s emoji on the map. This map really makes you wonder. Each state has its own nickname, for example, Texas is the Lone Star State and Florida is the Sunshine State. However, it doesn’t look like these emojis represent the state’s nicknames. Why is Florida’s favorite emoji a lock and key and Idaho, the Gem State’s favorite emoji the unicorn?
