#24 Naming Her Daughter Lilibet
After giving birth to a daughter, Meghan and Prince Harry chose the name Lilibet Diana. It’s pretty easy to see why they chose Diana, but Queen Elizabeth’s father, King George VI, affectionately referred to her as Lilibet during his lifetime. Some people thought it was a touching tribute, while others said it was “very rude” to use a nickname that the late Prince Philip had used. Despite its private nature, anyone who had even a passing familiarity with The Crown would have known about it.

Even so, when Kate and William had a daughter, they named her Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. It was expected of them and even applauded, that they would pay respect to the Queen. We think we smell a tinge of double standards.
