#35 Wearing Pants
Meghan (and Harry) showed up to the Endeavour Fund Awards in February of 2018. She spoke as a commoner, which was highly unusual given that she wouldn’t become a member of the Royal Family until her wedding three months later. But perhaps what’s most frustrating is that all the focus has been on Meghan’s wardrobe. Her wardrobe, which included a dapper Alexander McQueen tux, was met with compliments such as, “Why didn’t she just wear a nice dress? Not princess material at all.”

As per usual, the Daily Mail took a very hostile stance, interpreting Meghan’s choice of designer as a sign that she didn’t want to “steal the thunder” from her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who was also in Norway at the same time and wore an Alexander McQueen gown.
