Treasured Guest? We Hope Not!
Every workplace has its own lingo, and the Disney parks are no different. Cast members use pretty creative secret codes, though, in order to keep everything cool, calm, and collected in front of guests. With the sheer amount of visitors to a park on any given day, there are sure to be some sticky situations.
For example, cast members use the term “Code V” when referring to a guest who has thrown up somewhere in the park. Gross, but it happens to the best of us after a wild ride. If a guest is being disorderly, rude, or causing problems, they’re referred to as a “treasured guest.” We love the irony! This secret code is very clever since it gets the point across without being too brash or tasteless in front of visitors.
