During this period, Keola was sad and feared that something had happened to Jolene. She had not seen her best friend in a few days now and was restless in the stable. Ricky tried to calm the horse down but he wasn’t able to do it by himself. He knew that the horse needed to see Jolene. 

The only problem was that Keola was going to have to wait, because Jolene was still in no condition to be walking around, at least for the next few days. The horse grew more restless and was clearly suffering emotionally, thinking that something terrible had happened. Jolene was her best friend after all.
