Faye Dunaway today
Following her success in Bonnie and Clyde, Dunaway has earned a place on the A-list actors list. However, between the years 1970-1973, she saw a string of setbacks to her career. She managed to revive her name in 1974 with Roman Polanski’s Chinatown, for which the actress received her first Academy Award for the category of Best Actress.
Today, at 79, Dunaway still haven’t left the stage. She doesn’t appear on the big screen as much as she used to, but she’s still working on Broadway. Dunaway is still considered among the greatest actors of her generation, and in large part, she’s the face of New Hollywood – the film industry between the mid-sixties to early eighties.
