Cheryl Ladd then
Although she’s most widely known for her acting career, Cheryl Ladd started her career as a singer. She started her career in the early seventies as part of a traveling music group, called The Music Shop, who mostly performed in mid-western joints. She eventually settled in Los Angeles and started her career with mostly minor TV appearances.
After a line of guest appearances in TV shows including The Partridge Family, The Rookies and Happy Days, her big break finally arrived in 1977, when she was cast to replace Farrah Fawcett in ABC’s popular series Charlie’s Angels. Ladd became a regular part of the cast for four years, until the show came to an end in 1981.
