Diane Keaton then
To this day, Diane Keaton remains one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, but only some of us remember how she started her legendary Hollywood career. Keaton didn’t start out in minor television roles like most actors, but her film debut was in the highly-acclaimed The Godfather (1972). She went on to star in the entire Godfather franchise, and made a name for herself in Hollywood.
All throughout the seventies and the eighties, Keaton was one of the most popular faces in the industry. She won her first and only Academy Award in 1977 for her memorable performance in Annie Hall. Her career continued to flourish ever since, but the 70s was arguable Keaton’s best decade.
