Whether or not you are a fan of tattoos, there is no denying that every tattoo has a different story to tell. The NFL is filled with players that come from all different walks of life, many of which have a lot of different tattoos. We all think that these players are big, tough guys when just like the rest of us, many of these people either had to hide their tattoos from their families, from their teammates, or even ask their moms before they get a new one. But when it comes to sports, it almost feels like tattoos come with the territory so we have compiled a list of different NFL players and the meaning of their tattoos. What better way to get into the Super Bowl spirit and get to know your favorite players better than by learning about their ink?

#1: Levine Toilolo
The New York Giants, tight end, Levine Toilolo has been playing for his team in 2020 when he left the San Francisco 49ers. Toilolo played college football at Standford University and went straight into playing for the Atlanta Falcons from 2013 until his time ended with them in 2017.

Toilolo’s arm tattoo is a homage to his family, culture, and grandparents. Being of Samoan heritage, Toilolo explains, “There are different symbols, and a lot of it represents—whether it’s shark teeth or spearheads—it represents strength and ferocity and a warrior spirit, which is obviously big in our culture.”
