Ed Sheeran maintains a positive reputation as he is only ever mentioned for his hit singles. Most people love seeing larger amounts of money in their account, but not Sheeran. Unlike most adults, he maintains a low-key lifestyle by giving himself a monthly allowance of $1,000 in order to avoid being wasteful with his money. 

This is an intelligent move on Sheeran’s part. He admitted to The Irish Examiner in 2014 that “If I had all my money in one account, I would spend all of it”. However, in some ways, he is still a little more extravagant than most, even with an allowance. He admits that he spends most of his money on taxis, which many would find wasteful.
