Like Ed Sheeran, Keira Knightly admits to putting herself on an allowance in order to avoid overspending. The Pirates of the Caribbean actress allows herself access to $50,000 per year, which is about the average salary of an executive assistant. However, she also admits to cheating if absolutely needed. 

In accordance with her spending habits, Knightly says “if I want or need something that goes over [$50,000] I get it, but yes, around that.” Knightly also limits herself financially for social reasons explaining that “Some of my best, most hilarious times have been in the least luxurious places”.
