Academy Award winner Halle Berry learned about the importance of hard work and the value of a dollar from being raised by a single mother. Like other actors on our list, Berry is a saver, not a spender. She lives well but has not massively upgraded her life since earning her fortune.  

The Monster’s Ball actress explained to Money in 2006, “I’m not someone who has 10 cars and lots of diamonds… I’m pretty frugal. I save a lot because I’m always worried about when this trip is going to end” admitting that 15 minutes of fame can be a real thing.
