The first cellphone photo, 1997
This photo might look like nothing but a blurry picture, but represents an important moment in the history of the world, and more precisely, the history of technology. This was the first photograph ever taken on a cellphone. Philippe Kahn was waiting for his wife to give birth, ready with a digital camera at one hand and his cell phone in the other.
While he was waiting, he played around with the devices and had managed to synchronize them, so that he could send a photograph of his newborn daughter instantly from his cellphone. To this day, Kahn is credited with inventing the camera phone. He certainly deserves a lot of credit, since today it seems like an inseparable part of our daily lives.
