Jaclyn Smith, 1976
American actress Jaclyn Smith was born in Texas in 1945 and embarked on her acting career during the late sixties. She was cast in mostly minors roles until 1976, when her breakthrough role came with Charlie’s Angels (the original TV show). Smith was cast as Kelly Garrett – what remains her most memorable role to this day.
The show was critically acclaimed and help a wide fan base, and the three angels – Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett all shot to fame thanks to the show. Smith was known as being a diva on set, and she often insisted on picking her own outfits – one of them being this pink set, which became one of her most iconic looks.
