When it comes to treating others how you, yourself, want to be treated, people aren’t always so good at doing that… Sure, it is the just and right thing to do, but many people don’t always have the ability to see past their own prejudices. There is no doubt it is taking time for people to become more tolerant of each other, but one day we will get there.
It probably won’t come as a shock to many people that many of the states listed in red are the places that still struggle with racism and prejudice. Whilst there are many states in red, there are also many colored in blue, meaning “much less racism than average,” which is definitely something to take note of.
