States with No LGBT Employment Protections
While today’s society is more accepting of the LGBTQ+ community than it used to be in past years and decades, unfortunately, people who belong to the LGBT+ community still don’t get equal rights as straight people. It’s no secret that same-sex marriage is illegal in certain states, and even when it comes to employment, gay people are often treated unequally.

The LGBT+ community needs laws to protect employees from discrimination based on sexual orientation. Unfortunately, some employers discriminate against employees or candidates based on their sexual identity.
