States Where You Can Be Fired for Being Gay
While we’ve progressed a lot as a community in accepting the LGBT+ community, some people still hold prejudiced and narrow-minded opinions when it comes to the LGBT+ community. It’s not uncommon for employers to discriminate against employees or candidates based on their sexual orientation.

In some states, there are laws protecting the LGBT+ community from workplace discrimination, but in most states, you can actually get fired for your sexual orientation. It’s freaky to think this is the case, and hopefully, in the future, we’ll learn to only judge people based on their character and nature – rather than who they are attracted to.
