She’s The Main Character Type
We all know someone who fits the main character stereotype. You know, the ones who can’t conceive of a reality where they aren’t the center of everyone’s world. They think they’re the topic of every conversation and believe all eyes are on them at all times. Not only does the world revolve around them, but the whole universe.
Overhearing hushed whispers in the next cubicle can leave you curious if they’re talking about you, but most people have an internal meltdown over it, hope they’re included in the office gossip, and get over it. They don’t post passive-aggressive reminders about feelings about it. Did she really hear her name, or is she projecting some guilt here?
