Is This For Real? The Weirdest Things Confiscated by the TSA

May 4, 2019 by Alison Campbell

Everyone has weird workplace stories that they share with their loved ones and friends… But we have a feeling that the people who work for the Transport Security Administration (TSA) rarely have a boring day in the office. From rude customers to people who genuinely pose a threat to other airport goers, working in airport security isn’t for the faint-hearted. When you think about the types of things people try and sneak into airports, your mind tends to go towards security matters… But these images will have you realize that some people try and test the boundaries of airport security in many different ways. TSA workers see it all from a baby shark in a jar to finding tens of thousands of dollars in a rice cooker…

#1: Computer Python

When you are in the market for a new computer, there are certain things you want to look out for. It is important to make comparisons between the model you are looking at and any other models on the market that are around the same price to make sure you are getting a good deal and that everything is up to code…

We don’t know a lot about hard drives, RAMs, or anything like that, but we know that pythons generally don’t live inside computers. Can you imagine what the attending TSA officer would have said when they saw this? To think that someone thought they could get away with this… Never a dull day on the job.
