If you are headed to a place called Einstein Bros. Bagels, you probably expect some pretty good bagels, considering the name. The problem for Einstein Bros. Bagels is that many customers say that the bagels do not live up to the hype. They are simply not good.

Reviews from Consumer Reports’ survey have customers saying that the bagels served up at the chain were bland, even when compared to grocery store brands you can find in any home. What came inside the bagel was not much better, with surveyors saying that the vegetables lacked freshness and, for some, taste. Others reported incorrect orders and long lines. Overall, only 40% of customers said they would return. Those are not good numbers.
