Honorable Mention #14: Boston Market
Boston Market are the prophets of rotisserie chicken to the messes concept. Few years ago, maybe there was a brief moment in time when it was a good idea to open such specialty chain and people actually wanted to eat chicken “home-style” in a fast food restaurant. Unfortunately for Boston Market, these times are long gone, and customers’ preferences and behavior changed drastically. They just don’t look for home cooking outside. They have the food channel now and can cook those simple dished at home.
In addition, no one will say the food at Boston Market is “Amazing”. It’s ok. Not bad but not good. So, if you’re a fan of the dishes you can get a much better version of it elsewhere. Time will tell what will come of the brand, but we fell they must pull a rabbit out of the hat to stay in the fast food game.
